Directed Enzyme Evolution
We published this book with the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the discovery of directed evolution. With the Nobel prize in Chemistry 2018 awarded to Prof. Frances Arnold, the volume is a tribute to pioneers of this thrilling research field, while providing a comprehensive overview of current research and the state-of-the-art.
The outstanding panel of contributors in “Directed Enzyme Evolution: Advances and Applications” has ensured the compilation of some remarkable examples of enzymes improved by evolution in just a single volume, as well as providing an interesting collection of the cutting-edge approaches and methods currently available or soon to be added to the directed evolution tool-box.
